The ROSNOL AD-A1A25B/9XX-9X SMA RF adapter is a precision-engineered SMA Plug (Male) to SMA Jack (Female) interconnect solution designed for high-frequency applications up to 27 GHz. With a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω, this adapter delivers excellent signal integrity, featuring a low VSWR of ≤ 1.15 (≥ 23.13 dB return loss) and insertion loss of ≤ 0.04 × √F (GHz) dB. It supports reliable RF performance with insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, center contact resistance ≤ 3 mΩ, and outer contact resistance ≤ 2 mΩ. The adapter is mechanically compatible with 2.92 mm and 3.5 mm interfaces, offering enhanced versatility for precision RF and microwave systems. The screw-lock coupling mechanism ensures secure mating with a recommended torque of 0.9 Nm and durability of ≥ 500 mating cycles.
Constructed for long-term mechanical stability and corrosion resistance, this ROSNOL SMA adapter features a stainless steel body with passivated finishing, providing excellent durability and resistance to environmental stress. The center contact is manufactured from beryllium copper with gold plating (3 µinch) over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating (80 µinch), ensuring high conductivity, low contact resistance, and improved wear resistance over repeated connections. The insulator is made from PTFE/PEI, offering stable dielectric performance across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +165°C. A silicone rubber gasket enhances sealing performance, while the stainless steel coupling nut maintains structural integrity under high retention force (≥ 270 N). These carefully selected materials provide an optimal balance of mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical reliability.
