Description
SMA Jack (Female) PCB Connector | Through-Hole | Screw-lock | Stainless Steel Body
The ROSNOL SMA2I50-1350B/9Q is an SMA Jack (Female) through‑hole PCB mount connector engineered for broadband RF signal paths from DC to 18 GHz at a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. Electrical performance is specified as VSWR ≤ 1.25 (return loss ≥ 19.08 dB), insertion loss ≤ 0.03 × √F (GHz) dB, insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, center contact resistance ≤ 3 mΩ, outer contact resistance ≤ 2 mΩ, RF leakage ≥ 100 dB up to 1 GHz, working voltage 480 V rms (test voltage 1000 V rms), and power handling up to 200 W @ 2 GHz and 100 W @ 10 GHz (at 20 °C, sea level, VSWR 1.0). In‑application VSWR depends on PCB launch geometry, ground stitching, and cavity design.Mechanical characteristics include a screw‑lock coupling mechanism with ≥ 500 mating cycles, center‑contact captivation ≥ 27 N (axial) and ≥ 3 N·cm (radial), recommended coupling torque 0.80–1.10 N·m (maximum coupling test torque 1.70 N·m). The operating temperature range is −65 °C to +165 °C. The through‑hole structure provides robust solder fillets and strain relief on multilayer boards where panel space is limited and vertical cable routing is preferred.
Material and plating: body—stainless steel with gold plating over a non‑magnetic nickel‑phosphorus underplating; center contact—beryllium copper with gold plating over non‑magnetic nickel‑phosphorus underplating; insulator—PTFE. These selections provide corrosion resistance, low contact resistance, and stable dielectric performance across the full operating band.
