Description

2.92mm Jack (Female) PCB Connector | End Launch | Low Profile | Thick Board 5.3 mm | Stainless Steel Body

The ROSNOL K2HA50-1892C2-LP/9X is a 2.92 mm Jack (Female) end‑launch PCB connector designed for high‑frequency board‑edge transitions in microwave and millimeter‑wave systems. This connector supports a 50 Ω impedance and operates from DC to 40 GHz. The low‑profile end‑launch structure is optimized for thick printed circuit boards with a thickness of 5.3 mm (0.210 inch), allowing compact mechanical integration while maintaining controlled impedance and stable RF performance. Representative electrical performance includes VSWR ≤ 1.40 (return loss ≥ 15.56 dB), insertion loss ≤ 0.04 × √F (GHz) dB, insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, a working voltage of 250 V rms, and a test voltage of 750 V rms.

The connector incorporates a passivated stainless steel outer body for mechanical strength and environmental durability. The center contact is manufactured from beryllium copper with gold plating over a non‑magnetic nickel‑phosphorus underlayer, providing stable conductivity and long mating life over ≥ 500 mating cycles. A precision launch structure consisting of a gold‑plated beryllium copper launch pin, a brass transition block (Cu‑Sn‑Zn alloy), and a PTFE transition insulator is used to control the electromagnetic field at the PCB edge and minimize impedance discontinuities. PEI dielectric components within the connector body further support high‑frequency stability. Mechanical characteristics include center contact captivation ≥ 20 N (axial), recommended coupling torque of 0.80–1.10 N·m, and an operating temperature range from −65 °C to +165 °C. This end‑launch PCB connector is suitable for RF modules, high‑frequency evaluation platforms, and laboratory instrumentation requiring repeatable broadband performance.

ROSNOL’s precision‑engineered RF connectors offer a competitive alternative to products from leading manufacturers in Europe, the USA, and other global markets. All Rosnol RF components are manufactured in ISO 9001‑certified facilities and are fully compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations. Customization services for materials, plating, and mechanical design are available upon request.
