Description

SMP Full Detent Plug (Male) Bulkhead Cable Connector for .085, such as Rosnol RSF 085, DC - 40 GHz, VSWR ≤ 1.50, 50 Ω, with Soldered Cable Entry.

The ROSNOL SMP1EA50-FD0085A/99 is a high-performance SMP Full Detent Plug (Male) connector designed for demanding RF and microwave interconnect applications. Featuring a bulkhead mount configuration with solder attachment, this SMP connector is compatible with .085, .086, and RG405 semi-rigid cable assemblies. Its compact form factor and reliable full-detent engagement make it an ideal solution for high-density modules, communication systems, instrumentation, aerospace electronics, and advanced microwave assemblies operating up to 40 GHz.

Designed with a 50 Ω impedance, the connector supports frequencies from DC to 40 GHz while maintaining a VSWR of 1.5 or better. The center contact, body, and central nut are manufactured from beryllium copper with gold plating over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating, providing excellent conductivity and durability. A PTFE dielectric helps ensure stable electrical performance, while insulation resistance reaches 5 GΩ minimum for dependable signal integrity.

The snap-on SMP interface enables fast mating and secure mechanical retention in space-constrained RF designs. With operating temperatures from -65°C to +155°C and compatibility with repeated mating cycles, the SMP1EA50-FD0085A/99 is well suited for microwave modules, test equipment, radar subsystems, wireless infrastructure, and other high-frequency applications requiring a robust SMP bulkhead connector solution.
