The ROSNOL SMP1EA50-FD0085A/99 is a full detent SMP plug designed for bulkhead mounting and solder attachment, supporting .085, .086, and RG405 cables. Operating from DC to 40 GHz with a 50Ω impedance, it offers VSWR ≤ 1.5 (≥ 14 dB) and insertion loss ≤ 0.1 × √F(GHz) dB. The connector features a snap-on coupling mechanism and soldered centre contact and cable entry. Mechanical Data includes mating cycles of ≥1000 (Smooth Bore), ≥500 (Limited Detent), and ≥100 (Full Detent), with engagement forces up to 68 N and disengagement forces down to 2.2 N. Centre contact captivation is rated ≥7 N.Constructed entirely from beryllium copper, the body, centre contact, and central nut are plated with 3 µinch gold over 80 µinch non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating. The insulator is PTFE. This connector is compatible with .085, .086, and RG405 cables—including UT 85, ROSNOL RSR085, RSF085, RSF 085-FEP and EF405—this connector ensures a precise fit and reliable performance in demanding RF applications.
