The ROSNOL MCX1C50-G178A/19 is a straight MCX plug (male) connector designed for high-frequency applications up to 6 GHz with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. It features a compact snap-lock coupling mechanism for quick and secure mating, and supports both soldered and crimped center contact configurations. The cable entry is crimped, ensuring reliable strain relief and mechanical stability. This connector is optimized for use with RG 178 and RG 196 cables, making it suitable for compact RF assemblies requiring robust performance across a wide temperature range from −55°C to +155°C.

The connector body is precision-machined from brass and finished with gold plating over a nickel underlayer for enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance. The center contact is made of brass with gold plating, while the outer contact utilizes beryllium copper for superior spring properties and durability. The insulator is crafted from PTFE, ensuring excellent dielectric performance. Crimp ferrules are also brass with gold plating, with dimensions tailored for secure termination.
