The ROSNOL AD-N2N25A-BH/90-90 is a robust bulkhead adapter for 50 Ω systems operating from DC to 12 GHz. It offers VSWR ≤ 1.20, insertion loss ≤ 0.1 × √f (GHz) dB, insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, and contact resistance of ≤ 1 mΩ for the center and ≤ 0.25 mΩ for the outer contact. Electrical ratings include a working voltage of 500 V rms and power handling up to 1000 W at 1 GHz and 700 W at 2 GHz. RF leakage is ≥ 128 dB up to 1 GHz. The screw-lock coupling mechanism ensures secure engagement with ≥ 500 mating cycles, axial captivation ≥ 28 N, and recommended torque between 0.7 and 1.1 Nm.
Materials and plating: center contacts are beryllium copper with gold plating (3 µinch) over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplate (80 µinch). The body is brass with silver plating for corrosion resistance, while the insulator is PTFE for excellent dielectric performance. A silicone rubber gasket provides environmental sealing. Operating temperature range is −65°C to +165°C.
