The ROSNOL AD-V1Q25A/9XX-9X is a high-performance 50-ohm straight adapter optimized for DC to 50 GHz, achieving VSWR ≤ 1.20 (≥ 20.8 dB return loss) with insertion loss ≤ 0.05 × √F (GHz) dB. It offers robust electrical characteristics including insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, and secure mechanical engagement via screw-lock coupling on both sides. Center-contact captivation is ≥ 20 N and mechanical endurance is rated at ≥ 500 mating cycles, with recommended torque of 0.80–1.10 Nm and side test torque of 1.65 Nm.Materials and plating are engineered for reliability: beryllium copper center contacts with 3 microinch gold plating over an 80 microinch non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating deliver excellent conductivity and wear resistance. Stainless steel bodies and coupling nuts are passivated to enhance corrosion protection, while PEI insulators ensure stable dielectric behavior. The adapter maintains performance across −60°C to +100°C.
