The ROSNOL AD-N1U25A/144-94 is a straight RF adapter engineered for reliable interconnection between N plug male and UHF jack female terminations. It supports DC to 300 MHz frequency range with N side impedance of 50 ohms and UHF side non-constant impedance. VSWR is ≤ 1.3, ensuring return loss ≥ 17.7 dB. Electrical specifications include insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, center contact resistance ≤ 1 mΩ (N side) and ≤ 5 mΩ (UHF side), and outer contact resistance ≤ 0.25 mΩ (N side) and ≤ 5 mΩ (UHF side). The adapter employs screw-lock coupling on both sides, rated for at least 500 mating cycles, and features axial captivation ≥ 28 N (N side) and ≥ 30 N (UHF side).Material and plating details are optimized for corrosion resistance and RF stability. The UHF center contact is beryllium copper with gold plating over nickel-phosphorus underlayer, and its body is brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish. The N side uses brass for the center contact with gold plating over nickel-phosphorus, and a brass body with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish. PTFE insulators provide excellent dielectric properties, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.
