The ROSNOL AD-N1T25A/944-94 is a straight RF adapter engineered for secure interconnection between N plug male and TNC jack female terminations. It operates from DC to 10 GHz with 50-ohm impedance, VSWR ≤ 1.20, and insertion loss ≤ 0.05√F (GHz) dB. Electrical performance includes insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, working voltage 500 V rms, and typical power handling up to 80 W at 2 GHz. The adapter employs screw-lock coupling on both sides, provides axial center-contact captivation ≥ 28 N, and is qualified for ≥ 500 mating cycles. Recommended torque is 0.7–1.1 Nm on the N side and 0.46–0.69 Nm on the TNC side.Materials and plating are optimized for reliability: both center contacts use beryllium copper with gold plating 3 microinch over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating 80 microinch. The N body is brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish; the TNC body is brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish. Insulators are PTFE throughout, with a silicone rubber gasket and brass coupling nut on the N side. The construction offers strong corrosion resistance and stable performance across temperature variations.
