The SMA5C50-G316A/933 is a 50 ohm SMA Reverse Polarity Plug (Male) straight connector developed for RG316, RG174, and RG188 coaxial cable assemblies. Featuring a crimp cable attachment with a soldered center contact, this RF connector operates from DC to 6 GHz and delivers stable signal transmission for wireless communications, RF instrumentation, antennas, and microwave interconnect systems. Its reverse polarity SMA configuration provides reliable connectivity in applications that require compatible RP-SMA interfaces.
Engineered for consistent RF performance, the connector offers a VSWR of ≤1.15 and low insertion loss across the operating frequency range. The center contact utilizes gold-plated beryllium copper, while the body, coupling nut, and crimp ferrule are brass with nickel plating. A PTFE insulator and silicone rubber gasket further enhance electrical insulation and environmental durability.
Designed with a screw-lock coupling mechanism and rated for more than 500 mating cycles, the SMA5C50-G316A/933 operates in temperatures from -55°C to +165°C.
