Description

SMPM Jack (Female) Straight Cable Connector for .085" Semi-Flex, such as Rosnol RSF 085, DC- 40 GHz, VSWR ≤ 1.4, 50 Ω, with Soldered Cable Entry.

The ROSNOL SMPM2E50-EZ085A/99 SMPM Jack (Female) Snap-On Connector is engineered for high-frequency RF and microwave applications requiring compact size, reliable connectivity, and excellent signal integrity. Designed for .085, .086, RG405, and EF405 cable assemblies, this 50 ohm SMPM connector supports frequencies from DC to 40 GHz, making it suitable for aerospace electronics, test systems, high-density communication equipment, instrumentation, and advanced microwave modules. Its snap-on interface enables quick installation while maintaining secure RF performance in space-constrained environments.

Constructed with beryllium copper center contact and body components, the connector features gold plating with a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating to enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance. A PTFE insulator provides stable dielectric properties over a wide operating temperature range of -65°C to +155°C. Key electrical characteristics include VSWR ≤ 1.40, insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, insertion loss ≤ 0.1 × √F (GHz) dB, and low contact resistance for dependable high-frequency performance.

The SMPM2E50-EZ085A/99 utilizes a snap-on coupling mechanism designed for high mating durability, supporting at least 500 mating cycles with smooth bore interfaces. Its compact footprint, broad cable compatibility, and stable microwave performance make it an excellent choice for RF interconnect assemblies, communication systems, laboratory testing equipment, and high-density electronic packaging where dependable operation up to 40 GHz is required.
