The BNC1D70-G179A/144 BNC Plug (Male) Connector is a 75 Ohm RF connector designed for reliable signal transmission in broadcast, instrumentation, and communication systems. Optimized for RG179 cable assemblies, this connector operates from DC to 1 GHz and delivers a VSWR of 1.3 or better, helping maintain stable signal performance across the operating frequency range. Its compact and durable construction makes it suitable for professional applications that require dependable RF connectivity.
The connector incorporates a brass center contact with gold plating over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplate, supporting excellent conductivity and long-term reliability. A brass body and coupling nut with copper-tin-zinc alloy plating provide mechanical durability, while the PTFE insulator contributes to stable electrical characteristics. Additional specifications include insulation resistance of at least 5 GΩ, low contact resistance, and a test voltage of 1500 V rms.
Featuring a bayonet-lock coupling mechanism and a clamp-style cable attachment, the BNC1D70-G179A/144 enables secure installation and supports a minimum of 500 mating cycles. With an operating temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and RoHS compliance, it is well suited for demanding RF and video connectivity applications.
