TNC Protective Cap with Rope Chain Plug | Screw-On | Brass Coupling Nut
The TNC1A00-1800D-80/--4 is a TNC protective cap designed to provide mechanical protection for TNC connector interfaces when they are not engaged. Featuring a screw-on coupling mechanism, the cap helps shield the connector mating area from dust, debris, and physical contact during handling, storage, and transportation. The integrated rope chain design keeps the cap attached to nearby equipment or cable assemblies, reducing the risk of loss and improving convenience during field operation.
The coupling nut is manufactured from brass and finished with a copper-tin-zinc alloy plating for durability and corrosion resistance. A silicone rubber gasket supports the sealing structure, while the braided polypropylene chain provides flexibility and secure retention. The assembly is engineered for a minimum of 500 mating cycles and supports a maximum coupling test torque of 1.70 Nm, with a recommended torque range of 0.46 Nm to 0.69 Nm.
Designed for TNC connector protection applications, the product operates across a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and is RoHS compliant. Its robust construction makes it suitable for demanding RF interconnect environments where connector protection and component retention are required.
