The ROSNOL N2CA50-R400A/H4 is an N Jack (Female) straight bulkhead connector designed for 50 Ω RF transmission systems operating from DC to 6 GHz. This bulkhead connector features a screw-on coupling mechanism, crimped cable entry, and soldered center contact configuration for reliable cable termination. Electrical performance includes VSWR ≤ 1.30 (Return Loss ≥ 17.69 dB), insertion loss ≤ 0.05 dB, and power handling up to 1000 W at 1 GHz. Mechanical specifications include a minimum of 500 mating cycles, coupling nut retention of ≥450 N, center contact captivation of ≥28 N, and a recommended coupling torque of 1.0 Nm.
The center contact is manufactured from phosphor bronze with gold plating over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating. The body, washer, fastening nut, and crimp ferrule are constructed from brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy plating, while the insulator is PTFE. Compatible cable options include Times Microwave LMR-400, ROSNOL RNL-400, Belden 7810A, 8214, 9913, and Ecoflex 10.
