The ROSNOL N2C50-R400A/9X is an N Jack (Female) straight cable connector engineered for 50 Ω RF transmission systems operating from DC to 6 GHz. Featuring a crimped cable entry and soldered center contact design, this connector delivers VSWR ≤ 1.30 (Return Loss ≥ 17.69 dB), insertion loss ≤ 0.05 dB, and power handling up to 1000 W at 1 GHz. The screw-lock coupling mechanism provides secure mating, while mechanical performance includes a minimum of 500 mating cycles, coupling nut retention of 450 N, center contact captivation of 28 N minimum, and a recommended coupling torque of 0.7 to 1.1 Nm.
The center contact is manufactured from beryllium copper with gold plating over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating for excellent conductivity and wear resistance. The connector body is constructed from stainless steel with a passivated finish, while the crimp ferrule utilizes brass with a copper-tin-zinc alloy plating. PTFE insulation provides stable dielectric performance across a wide temperature range. Crimp dimensions are designed for Times Microwave LMR-400, ROSNOL RNL-400, Belden 7810A, 8214, 9913, and Ecoflex 10 cables.
