Description
BNC Short | Plug (Male) | 50 Ohm | Brass Body
The ROSNOL BNC1AS50-1610/133 is a precision RF accessory designed to provide a defined short-circuit termination with a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. This component presents a direct electrical short between the center conductor and outer conductor, establishing a known reference condition within RF and microwave test setups. The connector features a BNC plug (male) configuration with a bayonet-style coupling mechanism, ensuring repeatable mechanical engagement. It supports operation from DC up to 4 GHz and maintains mechanical stability across a wide temperature range from −65 °C to +165 °C.Constructed with a brass body and coupling nut finished in nickel plating, the ROSNOL BNC1AS50-1610/133 offers consistent mechanical robustness and corrosion resistance. The center contact is made of brass with gold plating over a nickel underlayer, providing stable electrical contact characteristics and reliable conductivity. A silicone rubber gasket is incorporated to support mechanical sealing and dimensional consistency. All dimensions are specified in millimeters with inch equivalents, and standard manufacturing tolerances are applied to ensure uniformity between units.
As part of ROSNOL’s RF test accessory portfolio, this BNC Short is manufactured under ISO 9001-certified processes and is fully compliant with RoHS and REACH requirements. ROSNOL test and calibration accessories are engineered to deliver consistent mechanical and electrical reference characteristics, offering a cost-effective alternative to comparable products from established international brands. Customization options for materials, plating, and mechanical configuration are available upon request.
