The ROSNOL SMA2A00-1270A-57/-X is an SMA jack protective cap designed to mechanically protect unmated SMA jack connectors by covering the connector opening and coupling interface. The screw-lock design ensures secure attachment to the jack connector, maintaining stable positioning during handling or storage. An integrated chain is used to retain the cap when disengaged, reducing the risk of loss while keeping the cap positioned near the connector. The structure supports mechanical protection against dust, debris, and accidental contact.The cap body is manufactured from stainless steel with a passivated surface treatment to enhance corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical durability. The retaining chain is produced from a copper–tin–zinc brass alloy, providing adequate strength, flexibility, and resistance to wear during repeated handling.
