SMA Jack | With Chain | Brass Body
The ROSNOL SMA2A00-1270A-57/-1 is an SMA jack protective cap intended to mechanically protect unmated SMA jack connectors by enclosing the connector opening and coupling interface. The screw-lock mechanism allows the cap to be securely fastened to the jack connector, supporting stable retention during handling or storage. An attached chain helps retain the cap when removed, minimizing the potential for misplacement while maintaining controlled positioning near the connector.The body is manufactured from brass with gold plating over a nickel underplate, providing good corrosion resistance and durable surface characteristics. The retaining chain is constructed from a copper–tin–zinc brass alloy, offering reliable mechanical strength, flexibility, and wear resistance suitable for repeated use.
