The ROSNOL SMA1A00-1270B-100/-XX is an SMA plug protective cap designed to mechanically protect unmated SMA plug connectors by covering the coupling interface and exposed threads. The screw-lock structure allows secure fastening to the connector, supporting stable retention during handling, transport, or storage. This version incorporates a stainless steel wire rope chain with a length of 100 mm, enabling reliable cap retention when disengaged while reducing the risk of loss. The overall structure is intended to protect the connector interface from dust, debris, and incidental mechanical contact.The body and coupling nut are manufactured from stainless steel with a passivated surface finish, providing enhanced corrosion resistance and consistent mechanical strength. A silicone rubber gasket is integrated to support sealing against particulate ingress at the connector interface. The wire rope chain is constructed from stainless steel, offering high tensile strength, durability, and resistance to repeated flexing in mechanical environments.
