The ROSNOL SMA1A00-1270B-100/-11 is an SMA plug protective cap designed to mechanically protect unmated SMA plug connectors by enclosing the coupling area and threaded section. The screw-lock coupling ensures secure attachment to the connector during handling or storage. A stainless steel wire rope chain with a length of 100 mm is used to retain the cap when removed, helping prevent misplacement while maintaining controlled positioning near the connector. The structure provides dependable mechanical protection against contamination and accidental contact.The body and coupling nut are manufactured from brass with gold plating over a nickel underplate, delivering good corrosion resistance and durable surface properties. A silicone rubber gasket is incorporated to assist in limiting particulate ingress into the connector interface. The wire rope chain is made of stainless steel, selected for its mechanical strength, wear resistance, and stability under repeated bending.
