SMA Plug | With Chain | Brass Body
The ROSNOL SMA1A00-1270A-150/-11 is an SMA plug protective cap intended to mechanically protect unmated SMA plug connectors by covering the coupling area and threaded section. The screw-lock design ensures secure attachment to the connector, helping maintain stable positioning during handling or storage. An integrated 150 mm chain is used to retain the cap when disengaged, reducing the potential for misplacement while allowing flexible positioning near the connector. The overall structure supports effective mechanical protection against dust, debris, and incidental contact.The body and coupling nut are manufactured from brass with gold plating over a nickel underplate, providing good corrosion resistance and durable surface characteristics. A silicone rubber gasket is incorporated to assist in sealing against particulate contamination at the connector interface. The retaining chain is constructed from a copper–tin–zinc brass alloy, offering adequate strength, wear resistance, and flexibility for repeated mechanical use.
