The ROSNOL SMA1A00-1270A-100/-11 is an SMA straight protective cap plug with an integrated retaining chain, classified as an RF connector protective accessory for unmated SMA female RF connectors. It is intended to provide mechanical protection during handling, storage, and transportation under non-operational conditions. The protective cap uses a screw-lock coupling mechanism to maintain secure attachment when installed and supports a temperature range from −65°C to +165°C.The protective cap body and coupling nut are manufactured from brass with gold plating over a nickel underplate. The retaining chain is made of brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy plating. An integrated silicone rubber gasket helps reduce the ingress of dust and foreign particles when the connector is not in use, preserving the physical condition of the connector while it remains unmated.
