The ROSNOL N2A00-1450B-100/-3 is an N straight protective cap jack with a wire rope chain, classified as an RF connector protective accessory for unmated N male RF connectors. It is intended to provide mechanical protection during handling, storage, and transportation under non-operational conditions. The protective cap is secured by a screw-lock coupling mechanism, allowing it to remain firmly attached when installed. The design supports a minimum of 500 mating cycles, with a recommended coupling torque range from 0.7 Nm to 1.1 Nm.The protective cap body is manufactured from brass with nickel plating, providing stable mechanical construction and corrosion resistance. A wire rope retaining chain is integrated to help prevent the protective cap from being misplaced when removed from the connector. This protective cap is intended to preserve the physical condition of the connector interface while it remains unmated.
