The ROSNOL Q2LA50-1118B-SC4.5/9X is a precision-engineered 2.4 mm Jack (Female) PCB connector utilizing a solderless compression mount design for ultra‑wideband RF and millimeter‑wave applications. This connector supports a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω and operates over a frequency range from DC to 50 GHz. The solderless, two‑hole compression mounting structure enables direct mechanical fixation to the PCB without thermal stress, allowing consistent electrical performance and convenient reworkability. Typical electrical performance includes VSWR ≤ 1.30 (return loss ≥ 17.69 dB), insertion loss ≤ 0.05 × √F (GHz) dB, insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, a working voltage of 150 V rms, and a test voltage of 500 V rms. In practical applications, the achievable VSWR is influenced by PCB launch geometry and ground design.The connector body is manufactured from passivated stainless steel to ensure high mechanical rigidity and dimensional stability. The center contact is fabricated from beryllium copper with gold plating over a non‑magnetic nickel‑phosphorus underplating to achieve low contact resistance and excellent wear resistance over ≥ 500 mating cycles. PEI and PTFE dielectric materials are employed to maintain consistent dielectric constant and impedance control at high frequencies. Mechanical characteristics include center contact captivation ≥ 27 N (axial), a recommended coupling torque of 0.80–1.10 N·m, and a maximum coupling test torque of 1.65 N·m.
