The ROSNOL T-A15-18G2WA-88.9/9XX is a 50 Ω SMA termination with integrated safety chain, operating from DC to 18 GHz with VSWR ≤ 1.2 (≥ 20.83 dB return loss) and rated at 2 W average power at 25 °C. Mechanical characteristics include screw-lock coupling, ≥ 500 mating cycles, coupling nut retention ≥ 270 N, axial center-contact captivation ≥ 20 N, 1.70 Nm maximum coupling test torque, and recommended torque 0.8–1.1 Nm for secure, repeatable connections.Materials and Plating: centre contact—beryllium copper with gold plating (non-magnetic nickel–phosphorus underplating); body—stainless steel, passivated; insulator—PTFE; gasket—silicone rubber; coupling nut—stainless steel, passivated; safety chain—stainless steel, passivated. The integrated safety chain helps prevent accidental loss during installation, maintenance, or field servicing, keeping the termination tethered to panels or test ports and reducing the risk of foreign object damage in controlled RF environments.
