Description

N 50 Ω Plug to N 75 Ω Jack Impedance Matching Pad | DC to 3 GHz

The ROSNOL MP-N15N27A-3G/9XX-9X impedance matching pad is engineered for high-frequency impedance conversion between N 50 Ω plug (male) and N 75 Ω jack (female) interfaces. Supporting operation from DC to 3 GHz, the device delivers controlled RF performance with frequency-dependent VSWR characteristics. For the 50 Ω side, VSWR is specified at ≤ 1.1 from DC to 1 GHz, ≤ 1.15 from 1 to 2 GHz, and ≤ 1.25 from 2 to 3 GHz. For the 75 Ω side, VSWR is specified at ≤ 1.15, ≤ 1.25, and ≤ 1.35 over the corresponding frequency ranges. Insertion loss is specified at ≤ 5.7 dB in both transmission directions. Insulation resistance is rated at ≥ 5 GΩ. Average power handling is 0.7 W at 40 °C, with linear derating to 0 W at 125 °C.

The MP-N15N27A-3G/9XX-9X features screw-lock coupling with a mating durability of ≥ 500 cycles. Center contacts are manufactured from beryllium copper with gold plating over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating. The connector body and coupling nut are constructed from passivated stainless steel, providing enhanced mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. PTFE is used as the insulator material, and a silicone rubber gasket supports mechanical stability. The allowable coupling test torque is ≤ 1.7 Nm, with a recommended installation torque range of 0.7 Nm to 1.1 Nm.
