The ROSNOL FA-PCA1PCA25A-26.5G10W30/9XX-9X precision SMA fixed attenuator is designed for DC to 26.5 GHz operation with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. At 26.5 GHz it provides a nominal 30 dB attenuation with deviation ±1.2 dB and maintains VSWR ≤ 1.35. This model supports 10 W average power handling at 25 °C. The screw-lock coupling mechanism ensures secure mating, with coupling nut retention ≥270 N, center contact captivation (axial) ≥20 N, and a minimum of 500 mating cycles. Electrical and mechanical performance are verified to ensure consistent attenuation and power accuracy across the operating band.The attenuator incorporates a beryllium copper center contact plated with gold over non-magnetic nickel–phosphorus underplating (3 µinch gold over 80 µinch Ni–P) to achieve low contact resistance and long-term signal stability. The connector body and coupling nut are manufactured from passivated stainless steel, while a black anodized aluminum heatsink body enhances heat dissipation under high power operation. A PTFE insulator is used to maintain stable dielectric performance over an operating temperature range of −55 °C to +125 °C, providing excellent corrosion resistance and thermal reliability.
