The ROSNOL FA-N1N25A-6G500W40/9XX-9X fixed attenuator is engineered for DC to 6 GHz operation with 50 Ω impedance and VSWR ≤ 1.4. It provides 40 dB nominal attenuation with ±1 dB accuracy, supporting robust average power handling of 500 W (at 25 °C). The screw-lock coupling delivers secure mating, contact captivation (axial) ≥ 28 N, ≥ 500 mating cycles, and recommended coupling torque of 0.7–1.1 Nm (test torque ≤ 1.7 Nm). Insertion loss corresponds to the specified attenuation. Insulation resistance and voltage ratings follow ROSNOL’s high-reliability design standards. Accuracy of attenuation & power is verified across the specified band.Piece-part construction uses a gold-plated beryllium copper (BeCu) center contact over non-magnetic nickel–phosphorus underplating (3 microinch Au over 80 microinch Ni–P), a passivated stainless steel body and coupling nut, PTFE insulator, and silicone rubber gasket—selected for corrosion resistance and long-term stability. Operating temperature range: −65 °C to +165 °C.
