The ROSNOL FA-A1A25A-18G5W30/9XX-9X is a precision-engineered fixed attenuator for RF and microwave systems. It operates across DC to 18 GHz with a nominal attenuation of 30 dB, maintaining an impedance of 50 Ω and a VSWR of ≤ 1.20 (Return Loss ≥ 20.8 dB). Power handling capability is 5 W average at 25°C; Peak 50 W (5 µs pulse, 1% duty cycle). Attenuation accuracy is specified at −0.8/+1.0 dB. A secure Screw-Lock coupling mechanism supports reliable engagement, rated for ≥500 mating cycles, with retention metrics (Coupling nut retention ≥270 N; Center contact axial ≥20 N). Recommended coupling torque: Recommended 0.9 N·m; Test torque ≤1.7 N·m.

Materials and plating: centre contact—Beryllium Copper, Gold plating 3 µinch over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating 80 µinch; body—Stainless Steel, Passivated; insulator—PTFE; gasket—Silicone Rubber; coupling nut—Stainless Steel, Passivated. Heatsink—Aluminum, Black anodized. Gold plating over nickel or nickel‑phosphorus underplating on conductive elements enhances corrosion resistance and electrical stability. Operational temperature range: -55°C to +125°C.
