Electrical performance includes insulation resistance ≥ 1 GΩ, test voltage 750 V rms, working voltage 335 V rms, and RF leakage ≥ 70 dB up to 1 GHz. The bayonet-lock coupling mechanism ensures secure engagement and mechanical durability for ≥ 500 mating cycles, with coupling nut retention ≥ 450 N and center contact captivation ≥ 18 N.
Piece parts and finishes are selected for durability: centre contact in beryllium copper with gold plating over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating; body in brass with gold plating over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating; insulator in PTFE; coupling nut in brass with gold plating over non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating. The adapter provides corrosion resistance and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
