The ROSNOL TVAC-AD-A1A15A/9XX-9XX is a precision 50-ohm straight adapter engineered for thermal vacuum (TVAC) applications, supporting frequencies from DC to 18 GHz with VSWR ≤ 1.20 (≥ 20.83 dB return loss) and insertion loss ≤ 0.05 × √F (GHz) dB. It ensures insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, center contact resistance ≤ 3 mΩ, and outer contact resistance ≤ 2 mΩ. RF leakage is rated at ≥100 dB up to 1 GHz, with power handling capability up to 200 W at 2 GHz. Both ends feature screw-lock coupling with axial captivation ≥27 N and mechanical endurance of ≥500 mating cycles; recommended torque is 0.8–1.1 Nm.

Constructed with beryllium copper center contacts plated with 3 microinch gold over an 80 microinch non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating, this adapter guarantees excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The body and coupling nut are stainless steel with passivated finish, while PTFE insulators and silicone rubber gaskets provide stable dielectric properties and sealing. The venting hole design ensures suitability for vacuum environments, supporting reliable operation across a temperature range of −65°C to +155°C.
