The ROSNOL AD-QA1A15A/944-944 is a precision RF adapter designed for DC to 18 GHz operation with 50 Ω impedance. It achieves VSWR ≤ 1.20 and insertion loss ≤ 0.05√F (GHz) dB, ensuring stable signal transmission and minimal loss. Insulation resistance is ≥5 GΩ, and the adapter supports ≥100 mating cycles on the QMA side and ≥500 on the SMA side. Coupling mechanisms include quick-lock for QMA and screw-lock for SMA, with center contact captivation ≥20 N for secure engagement.
The center contacts are beryllium copper with 3 microinch gold plating over an 80 microinch nickel-phosphorus underplating. Bodies and coupling nuts are brass with corrosion-resistant finish, and insulators are PTFE for thermal stability. Recommended torque for the SMA side is 0.56 Nm. The operating temperature range spans −40°C to +85°C, ensuring durability in varied environments.
