N Jack (Female) to SMB Jack (Female) | Straight Adapter | Screw-Lock and Snap-Lock | Brass Body
The ROSNOL AD-N2S25A/H4-H1 is a straight RF adapter engineered for dependable interconnection between N jack female and SMB jack female terminations. It operates from DC to 4 GHz with 50-ohm impedance, VSWR ≤ 1.17, and insertion loss ≤ 0.05√F (GHz) dB. Electrical ratings include insulation resistance ≥ 1 GΩ, test voltage 750 V rms, working voltage ≤ 250 V rms at sea level, RF leakage ≥ 55 dB up to 1 GHz, and typical contact current 1.5 A DC. The adapter combines screw-lock coupling on the N side with snap-lock on the SMB side, provides axial center-contact captivation ≥ 10 N, and is rated for a minimum of 500 mating cycles on both sides. Recommended torque on the N side is 0.7–1.1 Nm, with a maximum coupling test torque of 1.7 Nm.Materials and plating are optimized for durability. The SMB center contact is phosphor bronze with gold plating 3 microinch over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating 80 microinch; the SMB body is brass with the same gold-over-nickel-phosphorus stack, and the insulator is PTFE. On the N side, the center contact is phosphor bronze with gold plating over nickel-phosphorus; the body is brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish, and the insulator is PTFE. The adapter operates from -55°C to +155°C.
