The ROSNOL AD-N1NQ25A/944-94 is a straight RF adapter engineered for robust interconnection between N plug male and N snap-on jack female terminations. It supports DC to 8 GHz frequency range with 50-ohm impedance, VSWR ≤ 1.22, and insertion loss ≤ 0.1√F (GHz) dB. Electrical specifications include insulation resistance ≥ 5 GΩ, test voltage 2500 V rms, working voltage 500 V rms, and RF leakage ≥ 90 dB up to 1 GHz. The adapter employs screw-lock coupling on the N side and snap-lock on the N snap-on side, ensuring axial captivation ≥ 28 N and a minimum of 500 mating cycles on the N side and 200 cycles on the snap-on side. Recommended torque for the N side is 0.7–1.1 Nm, with a maximum coupling torque of 1.7 Nm.

Material and plating details are optimized for durability and signal integrity. The N snap-on center contact is beryllium copper with gold plating over nickel, and its body is brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish. The N side features a beryllium copper center contact with gold plating over nickel-phosphorus underlayer, and a brass body finished with copper-tin-zinc alloy. PTFE insulators provide excellent dielectric properties, and the coupling nut is brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy finish. The adapter operates reliably in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, ensuring stability in harsh RF environments.
