Description
50 Ohm Armored Coaxial Cable | PVC Outer Jacket | Low-Density PTFE Dielectric
The MP841A-AM is a heavy-duty RF/microwave test cable engineered for high reliability in harsh conditions. It features a solid silver-plated copper conductor and low-density PTFE dielectric, shielded by silver-plated copper foil and braid. The cable includes an FEP inner jacket and stainless steel armor with PVC outer jacket for maximum durability. Overall diameter is 14.35 mm (0.565 inch), with a minimum bending radius of 32.3 mm (1.27 inch). Weight is 141 g/m, and the cable withstands 5,000 flexures. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +200°C, and the cable is RoHS compliant.Electrical specifications include 50 Ω impedance, 86.0 pF/m capacitance, and 80% velocity factor. Screening effectiveness reaches ≥100 dB at 1 GHz, with phase stability ±2° typical and ±4.5° max. Typical attenuation values are 0.19 dB/m (0.06 dB/ft) at 1 GHz, 0.63 dB/m (0.19 dB/ft) at 10 GHz, and 0.87 dB/m (0.27 dB/ft) at 18 GHz. Maximum CW power handling ranges from 1,700 W at 1 GHz to 401 W at 18 GHz.
