50 Ohm Multi Purpose R-Test Cable | FEP Jacket | Low-Density PTFE Dielectric

The MP533A is a precision RF/microwave test cable optimized for frequencies up to 26.5 GHz. It features a solid silver-plated copper conductor and low-density PTFE dielectric for stable electrical performance. Shielding consists of silver-plated copper foil and braid, delivering ≥100 dB screening effectiveness up to 18 GHz. The cable diameter is 5.33 mm (0.210 inch), with a minimum bending radius of 9.65 mm (0.380 inch). Weight is 66 g/m, and the cable withstands over 10,000 flexures. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +165°C, and the cable is RoHS compliant.

Electrical characteristics include 50 Ω impedance, 86.0 pF/m capacitance, and 80% velocity factor. Signal delay is 4.30 ns/m, and insulation resistance is ≥1×10⁸ MΩ/m. Phase stability is ±3.0° typical and ±6.5° max, while amplitude stability is ±0.10 dB typical and ±0.20 dB max. Typical attenuation values are 0.26 dB/m (0.08 dB/ft) at 1 GHz, 0.94 dB/m (0.29 dB/ft) at 10 GHz, and 1.47 dB/m (0.45 dB/ft) at 26.5 GHz. Maximum CW power handling ranges from 960 W at 1 GHz to 155 W at 26.5 GHz.
