Description

50 Ohm Multi Purpose Ultra Low Loss Coaxial Cable | FEP Jacket | EPTFE Dielectric

The ROSNOL MPUL422A is a precision-engineered coaxial cable for RF systems up to 40 GHz. It features a solid silver-plated copper (SPC) center conductor, expanded PTFE dielectric, and dual silver-plated copper shielding layers. The cable is jacketed with FEP and has an overall diameter of Ø4.22 mm [Ø0.166 in]. Minimum bend radius is 12.7 mm [0.500 in].

Electrical specifications include 80.05 pF/m capacitance, 84% signal velocity, 3.9 ns/m signal delay, and insulation resistance ≥ 1×10⁸ MΩ/m. Shielding effectiveness reaches ≥ 90 dB up to 18 GHz and ≥ 80 dB up to 40 GHz. Phase stability vs bending is ±5.0° typical / ±9.5° max, and amplitude stability is ±0.1 dB typical / ±0.2 dB max. Attenuation ranges from 0.331 dB/m (0.101 dB/ft) at 1 GHz to 2.099 dB/m (0.640 dB/ft) at 40 GHz. Maximum CW power is 500 W at 1 GHz and 75 W at 40 GHz.

ROSNOL’s cable solutions are precision-engineered to meet the rigorous demands of RF and microwave transmission systems. Manufactured under ISO 9001-certified processes, ROSNOL cables deliver consistent high quality and performance at competitive pricing, making them a reliable alternative to products from leading European and American brands. All ROSNOL cables are fully compliant with global environmental and safety regulations, including RoHS and REACH. Customization services for materials, shielding, and mechanical design are available to support specialized application requirements.
