Description
50 Ohm Triaxial Coaxial Cable | FEP Jacket | PTFE Dielectric
The ROSNOL RG-178TR-C is a 50 Ohm triaxial cable featuring a stranded silver-plated copper (SPC) center conductor (7 × Ø0.102 mm [Ø0.0040 in]), PTFE dielectric (Ø0.86 mm [Ø0.0339 in]), and dual SPC outer conductors (Ø1.3 mm [Ø0.0512 in] and Ø2.25 mm [Ø0.0886 in]). The cable is jacketed with FEP (Ø1.83 mm [Ø0.0720 in] and Ø2.85 mm [Ø0.1122 in]), providing robust performance across a temperature range of −65°C to +150°C. Minimum static bend radius is 10 mm [0.394 in].Electrical characteristics include 98 pF/m capacitance, 70% signal velocity, and shielding effectiveness exceeding 60 dB. The cable withstands up to 1.5 kVrms and offers typical attenuation from 0.58 dB/m at 0.1 GHz to 4.13 dB/m at 6 GHz. Maximum CW power ranges from 225 W at 0.1 GHz to 23 W at 6 GHz.
ROSNOL’s cable solutions are precision-engineered to meet the rigorous demands of RF and microwave transmission systems. Manufactured under ISO 9001-certified processes, ROSNOL cables deliver consistent high quality and performance at competitive pricing, making them a reliable alternative to products from leading European and American brands. All ROSNOL cables are fully compliant with global environmental and safety regulations, including RoHS and REACH. Customization services for materials, shielding, and mechanical design are available to support specialized application requirements.
