50 Ohm Triaxial Coaxial Cable | FEP Jacket | PTFE Dielectric

The ROSNOL RG-178TR is a 50 Ohm triaxial cable designed for RF and microwave applications up to 6 GHz. It features a stranded silver-plated copper weld (SPCW) inner conductor (7 × Ø0.102 mm [Ø0.0040 in]), PTFE dielectric (Ø0.86 mm [Ø0.0339 in]), and dual silver-plated copper outer conductors (Ø1.3 mm [Ø0.0512 in] and Ø2.25 mm [Ø0.0886 in]). The cable is jacketed with FEP (Ø1.83 mm [Ø0.0720 in] and Ø2.85 mm [Ø0.1122 in]), offering excellent thermal stability from −65°C to +150°C. Minimum static bend radius is 10 mm [0.394 in].

With a capacitance of 98 pF/m and signal velocity of 70%, the RG-178TR supports up to 1.5 kVrms withstand voltage and delivers shielding effectiveness over 60 dB. Typical attenuation ranges from 0.58 dB/m at 0.1 GHz to 4.13 dB/m at 6 GHz. Maximum CW power handling is 225 W at 0.1 GHz and 23 W at 6 GHz.
