Description
50 Ohm Semi-Flexible Coaxial Cable | PE Jacket | PTFE Dielectric
The ROSNOL RSF-085-PE is a 50 Ohm semi-flexible coaxial cable designed for microwave applications up to 40 GHz. It features a solid steel inner conductor plated with copper and silver (∅0.53 mm / 0.021 in), PTFE dielectric (∅1.65 mm / 0.065 in), and a tin-plated copper braid (∅2.18 mm / 0.086 in), enclosed in a PE jacket (∅2.65 mm / 0.104 in). The cable supports a minimum bend radius of 3.2 mm (0.126 in) and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.Electrical specifications include 98 pF/m capacitance, 70% signal velocity, and 4.7 ns/m signal delay. It offers insulation resistance ≥ 1×10⁸ MΩ/m and screening effectiveness ≥ 90 dB up to 18 GHz. Typical attenuation ranges from 0.45 dB/m at 0.5 GHz to 3.30 dB/m at 20 GHz, with maximum CW power handling of 338 W. The RSF-085-PE is RoHS compliant and suitable for general-purpose RF applications.
ROSNOL’s cable solutions are precision-engineered to meet the rigorous demands of RF and microwave transmission systems.
