Description

50 Ohm Flexible Coaxial Cable | PVC Jacket | Foamed Polyethylene Dielectric

The ROSNOL RNL-400 is a 50 Ohm low-loss coaxial cable designed for RF and microwave systems operating from DC to 8 GHz. It features a solid copper-clad aluminum inner conductor (∅2.74 mm / 0.1079 in) and a foamed polyethylene dielectric (∅7.24 mm / 0.2850 in), shielded by aluminum tape and an aluminum alloy braid (∅8.1 mm / 0.3189 in). The PVC jacket (∅10.3 mm / 0.4055 in) provides robust protection and flexibility. The cable supports a static bending radius of 25.4 mm (1.000 in) and withstands voltages ≥ 2.5 kV AC at sea level.

Electrical characteristics include 78 pF/m capacitance and 85% signal velocity. Typical attenuation ranges from 0.05 dB/m at 0.15 GHz to 0.43 dB/m at 8 GHz, with maximum CW power handling of 1470 W at lower frequencies. The RNL-400 is fully compatible with Times Microwave’s LMR-400, offering a high-performance and cost-effective alternative for equivalent system requirements.

ROSNOL’s cable solutions are precision-engineered to meet the rigorous demands of RF and microwave transmission systems. Manufactured under ISO 9001-certified processes, ROSNOL cables deliver consistent high quality and performance at competitive pricing, making them a reliable alternative to products from leading European and American brands. All ROSNOL cables are fully compliant with global environmental and safety regulations, including RoHS and REACH. Customization services for materials, shielding, and mechanical design are available to support specialized application requirements.
