Description
50 Ohm Flexible Coaxial Cable | PVC Jacket | Foamed Polyethylene Dielectric
The ROSNOL RNL-240 is a 50 Ohm low-loss coaxial cable designed for RF and microwave systems operating from DC to 8 GHz. It features a solid bare copper inner conductor (∅1.42 mm / 0.0559 in) and a foamed polyethylene dielectric (∅3.81 mm / 0.1500 in), shielded by aluminum tape and a tinned copper braid (∅4.5 mm / 0.1772 in). The PVC jacket (∅6.1 mm / 0.2402 in) ensures mechanical protection and flexibility. The cable supports a static bending radius of 19.1 mm (0.7520 in) and dynamic radius of 63.5 mm (2.500 in), withstanding up to 1.5 kV AC at sea level.Electrical characteristics include 79 pF/m capacitance, 84% signal velocity, and 3.97 ns/m signal delay. Typical attenuation ranges from 0.10 dB/m at 0.15 GHz to 0.80 dB/m at 8 GHz, with maximum CW power handling of 660 W at lower frequencies. The RNL-240 is fully compatible with Times Microwave’s LMR-240, offering a high-performance and cost-effective alternative for equivalent system requirements.
ROSNOL’s cable solutions are precision-engineered to meet the rigorous demands of RF and microwave transmission systems. Manufactured under ISO 9001-certified processes, ROSNOL cables deliver consistent high quality and performance at competitive pricing, making them a reliable alternative to products from leading European and American brands. All ROSNOL cables are fully compliant with global environmental and safety regulations, including RoHS and REACH. Customization services for materials, shielding, and mechanical design are available to support specialized application requirements.
