The ROSNOL RG223/U coaxial cable is a 50 Ω RF transmission cable designed for reliable signal integrity in communication, test, measurement, and general-purpose RF systems. Operating from DC to 6 GHz, this cable combines low attenuation characteristics with effective shielding performance exceeding 70 dB up to 1 GHz. With a signal propagation velocity of 70% and capacitance of 98 pF/m, RG223/U supports stable signal transmission across a wide frequency range. The cable features a nominal outer diameter of 5.35 mm (0.211 inch), a weight of 65 g/m, and a minimum bending radius of 30 mm (1.18 inch) for static installation and 54 mm (2.13 inch) for dynamic applications. Voltage withstand capability is rated at 1.4 kVrms, supporting dependable operation in demanding RF environments.
The cable construction consists of a solid silver-plated copper inner conductor with a diameter of 0.94 mm (0.037 inch), PTFE dielectric measuring 2.98 mm (0.117 inch), and dual silver-plated copper braid shields with diameters of 3.45 mm (0.136 inch) and 3.95 mm (0.156 inch). This double-shielded design enhances EMI and RF interference protection while maintaining signal quality. The outer jacket is manufactured from durable PVC material with a finished diameter of 5.35 mm (0.211 inch). Silver-plated conductors provide excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, while PTFE dielectric material offers stable electrical properties across a broad operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with material ratings up to +105°C.
