The ROSNOL RG-179B/U is a 75-ohm coaxial cable designed for RF applications up to 6 GHz. It features a stranded silver-plated steel/copper inner conductor (7/0.102 mm [≈0.40 mm / 0.016 inch]), PTFE dielectric (1.60 mm [0.063 inch]), and silver-plated copper shield (2.04 mm [0.080 inch]). Capacitance is 68 pF/m with 70% velocity of propagation and screening effectiveness ≥ 60 dB. Attenuation ranges from 0.09 dB/ft [0.31 dB/m] at 0.1 GHz to 0.69 dB/ft [2.28 dB/m] at 6 GHz.The cable is jacketed with FEP (2.54 mm [0.100 inch]), supports a static bend radius of 10 mm [0.394 inch], and operates up to 1.5 kVrms. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for temperatures from -65°C to +150°C.
