Description
50 Ohm Flexible Coaxial Cable | FEP Jacket | PTFE Dielectric
The ROSNOL RG-178D is a double-shielded 50-ohm coaxial cable engineered for high-frequency applications up to 6 GHz. It features a silver-plated copper-clad steel inner conductor (7/0.102 mm [0.004 inch]), PTFE dielectric (0.86 mm [0.034 inch]), and dual silver-plated copper wire braids (1.30 mm [0.051 inch] and 1.70 mm [0.067 inch]). Capacitance is 98 pF/m with 70% velocity of propagation and screening effectiveness > 70 dB. Attenuation ranges from 0.18 dB/ft [0.58 dB/m] at 0.1 GHz to 1.26 dB/ft [4.13 dB/m] at 6 GHz.The cable is jacketed with FEP (2.30 mm [0.091 inch]), supports a static bend radius of 11 mm [0.433 inch], and withstands up to 1.5 kVrms. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for temperatures from -65°C to +165°C.
ROSNOL’s cable solutions are precision-engineered to meet the rigorous demands of RF and microwave transmission systems. Manufactured under ISO 9001-certified processes, ROSNOL cables deliver consistent high quality and performance at competitive pricing, making them a reliable alternative to products from leading European and American brands. All ROSNOL cables are fully compliant with global environmental and safety regulations, including RoHS and REACH. Customization services for materials, shielding, and mechanical design are available to support specialized application requirements.
