The ROSNOL SMA5C50-G142B/144 is a reverse polarity SMA straight cable plug designed for 50Ω RF systems operating up to 6 GHz. It features a screw-lock coupling mechanism, crimped cable entry, and a centre contact supporting soldered or crimped termination. VSWR performance depends on cable type and assembly. Supported cables include RG 55, RG 142, RG 223, and RG 400.
The connector body, coupling nut, and crimp ferrules are brass with copper-tin-zinc alloy plating. The centre contact is beryllium copper with gold plating over nickel, and the insulator is PTFE. The gasket is silicone rubber. The connector measures 20.65 mm [.813 inch] in length, with a hex size of 8 mm [.315 inch], and crimp dimensions of 5.41 mm [.213 inch] for the ferrule and 1.73 mm [.068 inch] for the centre contact.
