The through-hole mounting style and right-angle terminal design provide design flexibility and a robust mechanical attachment to the PCB. The connector's center contact is made from Beryllium Copper, and the body from Brass. Both are finished with a durable gold plating over a non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus underplating.
