Rosnol RF/Microwave Technology specializes in designing and manufacturing coaxial cable assemblies for high-demand Test and Measurement applications. The R-Test product line is focused on delivering solutions requiring excellent electrical performance, high mechanical endurance, and superior resistance to wear and corrosion. These assemblies are capable of operating across a wide frequency range, spanning DC up to 67 GHz, depending on the chosen cable and connector components.

Rosnol classifies its flexible R-Test cable assemblies into four primary categories: UltraFlex, Low Loss, Royal Blue Test Cable, and Ultra Low Loss. The UltraFlex series is ideal for dynamic use in labs and production due to its perfect flexibility and longevity. The Low Loss category is suitable for long cable runs and high-power applications, maintaining stability even with temperature variations. The Royal Blue Test Cable is defined by its ruggedization, high precision, and exceptional phase and amplitude stability during bending, making it the ideal solution for demanding Test and Measurement environments. Finally, the Ultra Low Loss assemblies prioritize phase stability and minimized signal loss for high-accuracy test benches. Rosnol also manufactures specialized semi-rigid and flexible cables, including Semi-Rigid, Semi-Form (handformable), Spiral Strip Flex, and Delay Line options.

Reliability is a core feature, emphasized by the mandatory cable flexure life testing (Snake Bending Test), which ensures the assemblies can withstand 100,000 unrestrained flexes while maintaining minimal degradation in VSWR, insertion loss, and phase stability. The company leverages design simulation software for calculating performance and conducts electrical testing using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) up to 67 GHz.

To suit various operating environments, Rosnol offers three distinct protective jacket options: Armor, Armor with PVC Jacket (weatherized for outdoor use), and Armor with Polyurethane Jacket over Braid and Stainless Steel Spiral, providing a flexible, waterproof, and UV-resistant solution.

R-Test cable assemblies utilize customized, high-performance connectors designed and manufactured by Rosnol, with specifications conforming to military and industry standards (e.g., MIL-PRF-39012, MIL-STD-348B). Most connectors are constructed from durable stainless steel with captivated beryllium copper center contacts, ensuring integrity even after heavy use.

Available R-Test connector types cover a wide spectrum of microwave applications, including RPC1.85 (up to 67 GHz), RPC2.4 (up to 50 GHz), RPC2.92 (up to 40 GHz), RPC3.5 (up to 26.5 GHz), and SMA (up to 26.5 GHz). Customizable connector options include Dust Caps (D), Extended Boots (E), and various precision Phase Matched (PM) services (Group, Absolute, Pairs, Standard, Offset).
